Transportation Logistics Coordinator

They will arrange shipping and delivery schedules and/or timing of external contracted transportation.
Candidate would be assigned and responsible for movements within assigned modes or groups and support of customer delivery requirements.
Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned:
Communicate and work closely with True Customer Service on getting product to the customer.
Partner with carriers assigned to you in order to address problems and/or solutions on freight issues.
Processing orders to ship from 3PL warehouse Processing ST orders for warehouse replenishment Diagraming shipments using Cube IQ Ability to assist with the needs of the department Regular and reliable attendance in the office is required.
Qualifications High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in business administration, supply chain management or similar field preferred.
Two or more years of related experience preferred.
Preferred certifications include those related to general supply chain, logistics and operations (i.
e.
APICS CSCP, SCOR-P).
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Exceptional organization and time management skills.
Ability to negotiate pricing and transportation contracts, agreements, etc.
Applicants with equivalent experience and a proven track record in transportation logistics are strong candidates.
The hours for this position are 8:
00am - 4:
30pm, Monday through Friday.
