VAST Data is seeking a SE Tools & Resources Manager.
This role is responsible for the design, development, implementation and management of software tools and processes to support the presales organization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in both software development and technical presales responsibilities.
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for building tools that help others save time and perform their roles more effectively.
Role
Responsibilities:
Design, implement and maintain tools for the SE/presales team.
Work with SE leaders and other stakeholders to identify tool needs and requirements.
Collaborate with other teams to integrate SE tools with existing business systems (CRM etc.
) and processes.
Train and support the SE user community on tools and resources.
Design and manage a continuous improvement process incorporating feedback from users and stakeholders.
RequirementsExperience in software development, with expertise in one or more programming languages.
Experience in a technical presales role, with familiarity of SE skills, knowledge and processes.
Experience with web development frameworks.
Experience with L2/L3 networking and enterprise-grade switching and routing products.
Experience with infrastructure automation and infrastructure as code concepts and tools.
Experience with containerization and microservices.
